I am General Cothren, president of the Washington Bluegrass assocition. I am writing this in regards to the band Fern Hill.
It has been my pleasure to have Fern Hill play at the Pick'n'Grin festival in Winlock, Wa. many times. This year (2012) we had them play at the Mount St. Helens festival in Toledo, Wa.
This band is one of the best traditional bluegrass bands on the west coast. Anyone could have them play at their festival every year and they can always bring in a crowd.
If you like Jimmy Martin, Bill Monroe, or The Stanley Brothers, this is the band for you. The band members are very professional. I can't say enough good things about this group. If you would like to know more about Fern Hill please feel free to call me.

If you are wanting to hear some of that true traditional bluegrass music, you have found it in this Northwest band,Fern Hill. This is one of the few bands left in the Northwest, that plays their music like Jimmy Martin and Bill Monroe did. The band comes with many years of experience and it shows in their performances, they have a true dedication to do their very best and the music they play comes from the heart. Their vocal harmony does inspire you and is good for the soul. If you are wanting to hire this band to play, you won't be disappointed, and you can count on their word.
